About

Amuse USAABOUT AMUSE GROUP USA, INC.

Amuse USA was incorporated in the state of California on May 27, 2014. The company has its principal office in Culver City, California.  The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amuse, Inc., a Japanese corporation, which is publicly traded at the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Our mission is to build further business networking opportunities, to enhance global name recognition of artists under its management, and to maximize investment efficiency.  Our main business points are Artist Management & Promotion within the music industry, investing in and producing TV Series, Films and Musicals, Talent Management & Promotion, and Event Planning and Production Coordination.

We collaborate with other companies within the Amuse Group to promote the recognition and publicity of Japanese as well as local artists in the U.S.  We provide full management services for “ONE OK ROCK” one of the biggest rock bands in Japan, who had a major debut with Warner Bros Records in 2015 and has gone on a US tour with 5SOS in 2016. We also provide tour support for Perfume (JPOP band), as well as BABYMETAL, the revolutionary metal idol band that has cracked U.S. Billboard’s top 40 and the first ever Japanese band to play Wembley in London, UK (Spring 2016). We also continue to discover talented artists in the U.S., including AFTER ROMEO, who recently appear in a Samsung commercial and have become one of the top 5 finalists for the 2016 iHeart Radio Rising Star contest.

Our film/TV department has shown active involvements in the Hollywood industry since the company was launched. In 2014, we invested in the TV series “The Pinkertons”, with Season 1 consisting of twenty-two (22) episodes and has been airing in the U.S., Canada, Japan, and the UK. We have successfully launched the inaugural J-CREATION: A FIRST LOOK SHOWCASE, a content-matching event between Japan and the U.S. for film/TV/interactive game opportunities in March 2016. (For more information, please go to j-creation.us)
By carefully selecting the programs by reviewing and analyzing the scripts, casting, and budget, we are actively involved with investments in the entertainment industry to provide financial support for effective and successful productions of musicals and TV series.

We plan, coordinate, and promote various artists to perform in the U.S. as well as produce a variety of events and concerts. Recently, we worked with SPJA, Lantis Co., Ltd., Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc., BANDAI VISUAL CO. LTD., BANDAI NAMCO Live Creative Inc., and Anime Consortium Japan Inc to bring Anisong World Matsuri concerts and events to Anime Expo 2016 held in Los Angeles, CA that featured nine (9) top anime theme song artists/bands.
