ABOUT AMUSE GROUP USA, INC.

Amuse Group USA was incorporated in California on May 27, 2014. The company is located in Culver City, California. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amuse, Inc., a Japanese corporation, which is publicly traded at the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Amuse USA’s mission is to build international business opportunities for Japanese artists and companies in film, TV, music, manga, and other entertainment industries.

Our film/TV department actively develops and finances projects in Hollywood. In 2014, we invested in the TV series The Pinkertons, with the show airing in the US, Canada, Japan, and the UK. In 2016, we successfully launched J-CREATION: A FIRST LOOK SHOWCASE, a content-matching event bridging the gap between Japanese rights holders and US creators to facilitate the adaptation of Japanese IP for film, TV, and games. (for more information, please visit j-creation.us). In 2021, we established a new IP curation project called A-JAPAN with VIPO. Since J-Creation, Amuse USA has represented over 200 IPs and acted as an IP accelerator for Japanese and US communities. We also invested in the Tony Award-winning plays An American in Paris and Kinky Boots.

Our music department provides tour support and management services for bands such as BABYMETAL, the metal dance unit sensation. We also plan, coordinate, and produce a variety of events and concerts at major anime events such as Anime Expo and Anime NYC.
